Description Sage Ross 2009-10-07 15:22:21 UTC
Fuzzy search and smart handling of case in search queries don't work on the mobile app like they do on either the mobile website or the regular website.

For example, if I search for "Lego space" on a computer or on the mobile site with iPhone Safari, I will be instantly sent to the article "Lego Space". On the app, I instead get a list of search results that doesn't even include "Lego Space". The search results look nothing like the results of the same search on a browser.

Also, the links to additional search results ("next 20", "50", "100", etc.) don't do anything; they just serve up the same first 20 results.

Reviews by other users also note that the fuzzy search results that can correct for spelling errors don't work on the mobile app.

I am not able to replicate the issue with "Lego space". The issue must have been a short-term bug as that's not the behaviour that should have occurred... ever.

And you are correct, the search results issue is pretty annoying. That will be taken care of during the next phase of development.
