Description MZMcBride 2009-09-29 16:50:08 UTC
Running iPhone version 3.0.1 using Safari.

I visit http://flaggedrevs.labs.wikimedia.org

I get redirected to http://en.m.wikipedia.org (WTF?)

I click "View this page on regular Wikipedia" and try again. Get redirected again.

I click "Permanently disable mobile site" and try to load flaggedrevs.labs.wm.o again. And it still redirects to en.m.wikipedia.org

I eventually had to use ?action=render in order to get the site to load at all. This really needs to be addressed. It's incredibly frustrating to not be able to navigate Wikimedia sites due to this overeager mobile redirect script.

That's not it really being "overzealous" and its definitely not the
fault of the mobile software. It is the flagged rev wiki that has the
redirect script installed when it should not.

Someone in labs must have copied the redirect script over
from Wikipedia.

So, whoever has admin with that lab needs to remove it from Common.js

I don't know who runs that wiki or how to contact them.

actually, I probably did this.

Apparently fixed now, per http://flaggedrevs.labs.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki%3ACommon.js&action=historysubmit&diff=11792&oldid=10716
