Halló! http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Allmessages displays the MediaWiki messages in the languages selected in the user interface. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Allmessages/language_code should allow to have direct access to these messages WITHOUT changing the interface, going to prefferences clearing the cache etc. [[Special:Allmessages]] is now sorted alphabeticaly. The ability to sort the message by modification date is / will be added in [[Special:Recentchanges]]. Anyhow optimsatons / anhancements could be done: : a selector for the available interface languages would be the next step if [[Special:Allmessages]] will be implemented : ordering by date could be available here too; this would make maintenance work more straight forward and would not spread functionality over different pages Regards Reinhardt

A further suggestion, that I think would be very useful, would be a 'Show only modified messages' button. In a list of (as of 1.5) about 1300 entries, where only a few have been modified, it would be good to see just those few. This is particularly useful when upgrading a wiki, where the text of a message may have changed, so your alterations to the previous version no longer make sense.

This works already: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Allmessages?uselang=fi http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Allmessages?uselang=ro etc. What is missing is the selector box for the languages that offer translations: this could be a) only the languages where a Messages.php is available b) all languages defined in Names.php (because of "fall back" language relations) Personaly I would not care if this is implemented via Java or PHP. best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
If Special:Allmessages is not enough, I suggest trying Special:Translate extension.
