Description FT2 2009-09-29 00:12:22 UTC
I just ran a CU on a range (will supply details to developer as needed), with the following results:

Range: x.y.96.0/20 (IP to edits)

Results in full:

Too many results, please narrow down the CIDR. Here are the IPs used (5000 max, sorted by address):

x.y.96.14 (date1 - date2, 2009) [274]
x.y.96.15 (date1 - date2, 2009) [302]
x.y.96.16 (date1 - date2, 2009) [132]
x.y.96.17 (date1 - date2, 2009) [235]
x.y.96.19 (date1 - date2, 2009) [349]
x.y.96.21 (date1 - date2, 2009) [281]
x.y.96.22 (date1 - date2, 2009) [394]
x.y.96.23 (date1 - date2, 2009) [347]

Problem:

Apparently there aren't 5000 edits in that range and time interval. CheckUser is reporting 2314 edits (total of 8 lines) and then saying over 5000 edits => error.

(Emailed actual IP range to Aaron Schulz for investigation purposes.)

What time interval?
Comment 3 FT2 2009-09-29 05:18:54 UTC

Comment 4 Aaron Schulz 2009-09-29 16:39:19 UTC
Probably just a bad mysql estimate.
