Description Peter Gervai (grin) 2009-09-22 21:13:42 UTC
There is an email which is supposedly sent to the OTRS but doesn't seem to have arrived. Could someone please check the mail logs where it could have been disappeared?

(the copy of the original [without much useful headers unfortunately] is at OTRS Ticket#2009092210063233 which successfully arrived now.)

As time passes it will be harder and harder to figure out.
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2009-09-23 17:45:42 UTC
Fred, can you take a peek? If we can't find anything then go ahead and close.
Comment 3 Fred Vassard 2009-09-23 21:31:46 UTC
Peeking...
Comment 4 Peter Gervai (grin) 2009-09-24 07:26:32 UTC
/me worrying about Fred's eyesight, extended peeking may hurt peripheral vision ;-)

Apart from kidding, found anything? Theoretically email must not get lost. Did we receive the email, and OTRS lost it, or it didn't even arrive? I've tried to triangulate it inside OTRS by various header data, received date and such but found nothing, so I'd say it's not in the database. But since it was sent from gmail no much sending logs available (=none at all). Usually gmail sending dates are reliable, and mail gets out in less than 5 seconds.

Giving half of Fred's old bugs to Jeluf since I trust him to handle them or give them away if he can't.
Comment 6 JeLuF 2011-03-07 06:54:19 UTC
Can't find any traces of it in the log files any more. If it went to the spam queue, it was deleted 14 days after arrival.
