Description Mike.lifeguard 2009-09-22 18:53:10 UTC
Please register an account for nagios-wm and have it identify to nickserv when it connects. Eventually, perhaps flood protection will be possible.
Comment 1 Fred Vassard 2009-09-23 21:30:16 UTC
Completed:
nagios-wm has joined the channel.
2:29 PMnagios-wm has userhost n=nagios-w@spence.wikimedia.org and realname IRC echo bot
2:29 PMnagios-wm is on #wikimedia-tech
2:29 PMnagios-wm is connected on irc.freenode.net (http://freenode.net/)
2:29 PMnagios-wm is identified to services
2:29 PMnagios-wm is signed on as account nagios-wm
2:29 PMnagios-wm signed on at Sep 23, 2009 2:28:53 PM and has been idle for 06s

Comment 2 Ryan (Rjd0060) 2012-08-08 09:04:28 UTC
Perhaps because the bot was not identifying to services (not sure) the nick was dropped. Reopening.
Comment 3 Antoine "hashar" Musso (WMF) 2013-03-18 09:04:02 UTC
Ops have migrated from nagios to icinga, so I have updated the bot name in this bug summary:

 nagios-wm -> icinga-wm
Comment 4 Nemo 2013-03-18 09:14:21 UTC
Should probably use the certificates instead of a password, to authenticate.
