Not sure if this is a bug or an absence of a feature, but anyway, it seems to me that some sort of standard text ought to show up on the search results page, coming from MediaWiki:Searchresultstext or some such page, directing readers to (for example) help pages on the search feature. At present no such text is appearing.
It appears that in the almost two years since this was submitted, the following text was added to the search results page. You may create the page "Something?", but consider checking the search results below to see whether the topic is already covered. For search help, please visit Help:Searching. A reference to Help:Searching is exactly what Le Chat requested, so I'm marking fixed.
