Nevertheless beleive me: There is only one page in the User talk namespace. Please do not blame me about the broken links in bugzilla. Bugzilla should have a preview. Hi, I'm an admin in Tamil wikipedia. Let me point down the problems there. 1. Except in recent changes, all user talk pages appear as red links and when you click on them open in edit mode even when the pages are already created in which case the existing content is there in the edit box. 2. Even for user talk pages, the navigation bar shows the equivalent of "Article|Discussion|.." with the tab set to article and hence you are able to create discussion pages of user talk pages! For ex, my user page is [[:ta:பயனர்:Sundar]], [[:ta:பயனர் பேச்சு:Sundar]] and the discussion on my talk page i.e. Talk:User talk:Sundar is [[:ta:பேச்சு:பயனர் பேச்சு:Sundar]]. The basic problem is because user talk pages are treated as articles! Can we upgrade the whole mediawiki software to the latest version? Sundar [[:en:User:Sundar]]

Sundar, thank you for the clear description. I've found the problem (incorrect use of space instead of underscore in the namespace definition) and am correcting it now.

Seems to be working correctly now. Fixes applied to CVS HEAD and REL1_4 and put live, and I've renamed the broken pages in the database. If a page still shows wrong, try adding ?action=purge on the URL to force it to rerender.
