Hello all, there was a misterious data loss in is.wiktionary.org: *Category shows sub-categories: http://is.wiktionary.org/wiki/Flokkur:%C3%8Dslensk_beyg%C3%B0_or%C3%B0 *But they 'seem' not to exist when clicked: http://is.wiktionary.org/wiki/Flokkur:%C3%8Dslensk_beyg%C3%B0_or%C3%B0_%28l%C3%BDsingaror%C3%B0%29 *Also all pages that were in the categories are not listed there anymore *But I _did_ create those subcategories and the pages _were_ in the categories (see an extract of my contributions to the extinct categories: http://pastebin.ca/1570008 ( http://is.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?limit=500&tagfilter=&title=Kerfiss%C3%AD%C3%B0a%3AFraml%C3%B6g&contribs=user&target=Spacebirdy&namespace=14&year=&month=-1 ) Please restore the data that got lost, I fear that even more categories are gone. Situation: * [[wikt:is:Category:Íslensk beygð orð]] shows/lists (empty) sub categories; the upper ones are tenacious, permanently stuck (in cache?), although the sub cats have vanished (content and list). To test what might happened I did the following: 1. I have (re-)created [[wikt:is:Category:Íslensk beygð orð (sagnorð)]] (so do not wonder, also keep care on this when fixing) 2. I have categorized it into [[wikt:is:Category:Íslensk beygð orð]] (again) 2a. The additional (doubled) "[+] Íslensk beygð orð (sagnorð) (0)" entry under "Í" appeared at [[wikt:is:Category:Íslensk beygð orð]] 2b. The (re-)creation had no effect towards the upper 4 sub categories (those got heavily stuck) 3. I did a null edit (empty edit, purging edit) on [[wikt:is:á]] 3a. This edit properly (re-)included [[wikt:is:á]] in the category [[wikt:is:Category:Íslensk beygð orð (sagnorð)]] 4. Looked for "broken" entries at [[wikt:is:Special:AllPages/Flokkur:broken]] 4a. No 'Broken/' entries, but the disappeared sub categories are still listed (e.g. "Íslensk beygð orð (lýsingarorð)")! 5. Checked log entries for the subcats 5a. ~care of~ Proof that [[wikt:is:Category:Íslensk beygð orð (nafnorð)]] once existed e.g.: http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cache:oN9DFjMrAW0J:is.wiktionary.org/wiki/Flokkur:%C3%8Dslensk_beyg%C3%B0_or%C3%B0%C2%A0%28nafnor%C3%B0%29+%C3%8Dslensk+beyg%C3%B0+or%C3%B0+%28nafnor%C3%B0%29 ... we do not know what else got lost, how much (more important) content, and on how many wikis!
