Description Joe 2009-09-17 15:29:57 UTC
The wiki we have has been working fine until yesterday. No changes have been made to any of the systems relevant, as far as we can tell.

The "Please set up the wiki first" appears on 95% of calls to the site.
Seems wiki can't find Localsettings.php (though it exists in root directory, and worked until yesterday)

Tried Re-installing, but that didn't help at all.

We had MW 1.15.0, upgraded to 1.15.1, but it stayed the same.

Any page we try viewing shows this message. If refreshed a few times the page might appear, but when a link is clicked - it disappears again.

The wiki runs on php 5.3.0, Mysql 5. (IIRC; special:version isn't availible...)
Site is on Windows server 2003, IIS 6

The name of the file is LocalSettings.php , with a capital S.
Comment 2 Joe 2009-09-17 15:38:42 UTC
Yes, of course it is. I just typed it in, didn't copy-paste from my file manager.

Funny, I actually checked that as part of my debugging, didn't think it was worth noting.
MW creates the file, the last thing that should be wrong with it is it's name...
Comment 3 Brion Vibber 2009-09-17 19:08:56 UTC
That seems to have been resolved (site's now running with some other bug :)
Comment 4 Joe 2009-09-18 06:31:33 UTC
Easy come easy go...
Thank
