Due to increasing vandalism by anonyms, community on id.wikipedia has aggree to block anonyms from editing and to create new page.

If you need time before applying this request permanently, could you please apply this request temporarily on 18-Sep to 28-Sep? Majority of admins will take leave on those days because of long full week holiday of [[:en:Eid ul-Fitr]]. Lot of vandalism can happened on that days where no admins around. It can be a major vandalism problem.

Removing the ability of anonymous editors to edit pages violates http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Founding_principles

If there are vandalism issues, there are a number of groups that can help your wiki (stewards, Counter-vandalism network, et al.). I recommend WONTFIX for this bug.

Part of this bug is ok, new page creation by anons can certainly be disabled and has been before.

As for removing anon edits? Definitely a WONTFIX.

Thank you for the reference to the founding principle. We forgot to look at it.

Please disable just the page creation rights for anon. We will tell the Indonesian community about it.

Shell requests such as this are not always high on the priority list, and rightfully so. However, Brion has asked Rob to do it, so it will get done. Please try to have some patience, it has only been a little while.
