Description Aude 2009-09-08 02:53:46 UTC
We could use a mailing list (wikimedia-dc) to announce our meetups to local Wikimedians, as not everyone is active on enwiki but may be involved in other ways. A mailing list would also be useful to announce other events of interest to locals, such as requesting volunteers for the recent Wikipedia Academy at NIH.

Description:
"A list for Wikim/pedians in the Washington, DC area. For planning and announcing meetups, and other items of local interest."

Would you like to be the initial list moderator? (aude.wiki [at] gmail) You can always change this and add more people later.
