In some cases, even though I have not logged out nor changed IP addresses, an attempt to log in with my e-mail address and my password brings up the red banner indicating it's wrong, and yet logging in from a different browser window with the same information does work, but attempting to log in again with the exact same information in the other window (whose status shows I'm not logged in) fails. It keeps telling me the username or password is incorrect, and still seems to think I am not logged in in that window and won't let me log in.
Never seen such a problem.
Hallo! This can happen if cookies are not enabeled. Please note that cookies can be blocked /enabeled by third party software, in each browser, per domain, subdomain. I just checked the behaviour from the initial comment with denying cookies to http://bugzilla.wikipedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2052 wikipedia (with "p"). After "logging in" all seems fine; if you click on "preferences", "my bugs", "my votes" you are logged out. I could not see any textual hint about enableing cookies. This is a problem if cookies have been denied in the past and this was "remembered". best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
