Please enable the Option «E-mail me when a page on my watchlist is changed» and check it as default on Strategy wiki. Strategy wiki is a small wiki (compared to Meta, where the option is active), so this won't overload servers. 
Strategic planning is a top priority for the WMF in the next year, and we need users to  stay around, discuss and improve the proposals, then this option is very useful.
