After updating to current SVN version 55803 for mediawiki and extensions, the Smoothgallery fails and gives the following warnings on top of pages it is used on:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/share/mediawikistaging/extensions/SmoothGallery/SmoothGalleryClass.php on line 23

Close the bug, SmoothGallery should be phased out in favor or jquery based tools. We no longer use it, since it did not work well with many images (> 30).
