Description Purodha Blissenbach 2009-09-02 15:59:21 UTC
There are two independant messages saying "try beta" in English.
Thses are: MediaWiki:Optin-try and MediaWiki:Optin-accept-long

They are not immediately intelligible but as opposed to the more understandable messages near then, they lack a tooltip.

Also, "Beta" is an English term which cannot be translated to some languages.
See also http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/I18n#Expect_untranslated_words
With proper language tagging, it shows up as

    * Beta ußprobeere

e.g. on kshwiki. That needs to be corrected.

Tooltips have been added in r55760.

The English internationalization looks like this...

MediaWiki:Optin-try -> 'Try Beta'
MediaWiki:Tooltip-pt-optin-try -> 'Try out new features'

MediaWiki:Ooptin-leave' => 'Leave Beta'
MediaWiki:Tooltip-pt-optin-leave' -> 'Turn off new features'

MediaWiki:Ooptin-feedback -> 'Beta feedback'
MediaWiki:Tooltip-pt-optin-feedback -> 'Provide feedback about your experience with the new features'

So please feel free to localize away.
