Description Doug Hockin 2009-08-25 18:48:45 UTC
Before I login, and when I use a larger font size in a smaller window the text on the left and right sides of the top line overlap.

The overlapping texts are:

"Wikipedia is sustained by people like you. Please donate today."

and

"Try Beta Log in / create account"

This is specific to the English Wikipedia since the text "Wikipedia is sustained by people like you. Please donate today." are added via JavaScript in [[MediaWiki:Monobook.js]]. This should be reported on [[WP:VPT]] (or somewhere else).

Thanks, I'll do that. It took me a long time to figure out where to report it and I came here in response to the message at the top of [[WP:VPT]]: "The technical section of the village pump is used to discuss technical issues about Wikipedia. Bugs and feature requests should be made at the BugZilla." Maybe that message needs changing?
Comment 3 Alexandre Emsenhuber [IAlex] 2009-08-27 19:19:04 UTC
Closing as INVALID since this is not a MediaWiki bug.
