Moving a custom message such as [[Mediawiki:message]] should also move 
any UI translations that depend on it (e.g. [[Mediawiki:message/fr]], 
[[Mediawiki:message/el]], etc.)

In which case is it usefull to move messages in the MediaWiki namespace?

What about handling collisions with one or more subpage titles if taken?

It is somehow a duplicate of bug 9626 (only namespace-specific); since that bug seems to be fixed, I think this should be fixed as well.
