Description Jason 2009-08-13 06:00:55 UTC
Currently, users have no way of knowing when a draft has been approved by an editor. It would be nice to have an email flag on the 'My Preferences' page which would allow users to receive email updates when a draft has been approved/rejected/depreciated.

This is about notifying the draft revision authors about their revision being approved, right? And approved to what level (sighted/quality)? Probably a way to set either should exist.

Yes, and yes.

Edits are often "implicitly" (reviewing a revision after the edit) flagged and can also have been reverted/edit out. The wording would have to be careful, and should give a diff from the user's revision to the new reviewed revision. It would also have to handle consecutive edits as well as admins unflagging edits.

Is there demand for this on WMF wikis?
