Description Andrew Garrett 2009-07-30 09:17:14 UTC
It should support MySQL search at a minimum, and probably Postgres if I get time.
Comment 1 Brandon Harris 2010-09-10 01:25:04 UTC
Is this still a bug? It's over a year old.
Comment 2 Andrew Garrett 2010-09-14 16:08:52 UTC
The search feature hasn't been implemented for any search backend other than Lucene, and it's not currently a priority to do so.
Comment 3 Quim Gil 2013-03-21 16:00:27 UTC
Does this request make sense? Isn't the regular search engine enough to search through LQT threads?
Comment 4 Andre Klapper 2013-03-22 10:39:33 UTC
I think there are middle-term considerations to switch from Lucene to Solr, but I don't know which changes this would require.
Comment 5 Quim Gil 2014-04-17 04:34:45 UTC
Now we have Cirrus Search, but I don't whether it has any relation to LQT. In fact LQT is clearly in legacy mode, and I'm not sure we would advice anyone to write other search backends for it. Is it a problem if in this case we are clear and resolve as WONTFIX?
