What I'm requsting here is a plugin similar to http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:IncludeArticle
It should be able to include text from a random or specified page and allow limiting that text to a certain range (so far the above extension works).
But it should also be able to not choose pages that are in certain categories. The above plugin does that for namespaces only, sadly not for categories.
It should also be able to detect words (easy by detecting white space) and wiki code to avoid cutting a word, link, table, ... in the middle of it but include the whole thing, even if it exceeds the limit specified.
