Reporting against revision 52757 (/trunk/extensions/Drafts)


Steps to reproduce ::
1) Install 'It's All Text! 1.3.1' Add-on on Firefox and configure it for Note Pad
2) Select an article for editing 
3) Use external editor for changing the content 
4) Save the content in the editor 

<<Changes were added to the Edit Area. The 'Save Draft' button was not enabled>>


Expected Outcome::
Button shall be enable when there are changes.

Save Draft Button 
    * Initially Disabled to indicate no change
    * Enabled upon change

Test Environment ::
OS : Vista , DB : MySQL 5.1.33 , PHP : 5.2.9-2, MediaWiki : 1.15.0
Browser : Firefox 3.0.11

Not a major issue, possibly WONTFIX.

As per discussion " Review and deploy Drafts extension to Wikimedia wikis" (https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37992), the 'Save Draft' button is currently not apart of WMF wikis but may be in the process of being deployed. 

Since there is not 'Save Draft' button, I don't think this is an issue.

We killed the external editor in Ic3791d18.
