Description Auke Ypma 2009-07-02 14:32:52 UTC
When a category page is redirected and the category becomes empty the category page behaves a bit odd.

The redirect still functions but there is no reference back to the original page on the destination page. only the text "1.REDICTECT" is printed where the link should be.

Viewing the empty category by adding &redirect=no to it's url shows a missing/empty category. There is no way of removing the redirect.
editing the category doesn't show the "#REDIRECT..." statement.

I was unable to reproduce this issue on test2:

1. Create two cateogies, Foo and Gro.
2. Create a page, Boo, and categorize it in Foo.
3. Redirect Cat:Foo to Cat:Gro.
[appears as soft redirect as expected, since still has a page]
4. Remove Cat:Foo from page "Boo."
[Cat:Foo redirects to Cat:Gro as expected, since no files within]
5. Once redirected, I am able to click back to Cat:Foo and edit it.

I assume that this was resolved at some point in the past 4 years. ;-)
