Some deleted page still shows in Special:NewPages with a yellow background and need to put an "&action=markpatrolled" manually to mark that page as patrolled.

So could we remove a deleted new page from Special:NewPages to prevent this? Thanks.

Deleted pages should not appear in Special:Newpages at all. If they do, its a bug. Are you sure that you're loading Special:Newpages after the page is deleted?

At least on zhwiki, yes. Some page are deleted *long* before I attempt to patrol them.
