Description Florian Effenberger 2009-06-13 13:51:14 UTC
The language detection in the language selector does not work for Safari. Safari only reports de-de as language, while MediaWiki only has de as language. Mozilla reports de-de,de and thus works. Fallbacks should be created, so de is used in case of de-de content header.

What language selector is this? Can you provide a link?
Comment 2 Niklas Laxström 2009-06-23 06:22:15 UTC
Is there language selectors other than http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:LanguageSelector ?
Comment 3 Florian Effenberger 2009-06-23 08:59:33 UTC
Exactly this one:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:LanguageSelector

A wiki you can try this at is
http://wiki.ooodev.org/Main_Page

FF: German
Camino: German
Safari: English
Comment 4 Florian Effenberger 2011-04-06 14:28:05 UTC
Problem still persists and can be seen at http://wiki.documentfoundation.org
Comment 5 Niklas Laxström 2011-07-11 12:53:25 UTC
Should be fixed with r91877.
