Description Ingo Ließegang 2009-06-10 16:16:01 UTC
Hi there!

When searching wikipedia sites, some search engines are provided, one of them Microsoft Live.

Since Bing obviously will replace Live and in fact is much better (even better than Google, as some say), I propose at least addng Bing to te search options.

Btw, Bing itself advocates Wikipedia, so that would kinda "fair" ;)

Regards,
Ingo

This is done on the individual sites using JavaScript - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.js/search.js. You could ask at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Common.js. It seems Live already redirects to Bing.

Thanks for looking into this - you're right, they're already redirecting to Bing, so there's no need for it. Maybe for cosmetic reasons.
