This parameter would make it so Special:Random/namespace would only seek a base page and not a subpage.

I just thought of a perhaps preferential implimentation..

If you had a name space called "NAMESPACE"

[[Special:Random/NAMESPACE]] would show any page - including a base page

[[Special:Random/NAMSPACE/Basepage]] would only show a base page, but not a subpage. 

How's that?! :)
