Description Francis Dinh 2009-04-24 20:25:17 UTC
Some people may prefer using their own editor rather than using the included editor. When a person chooses to use their editor, it will save a file on their system. The internal editor will also include uploading changes from their system.

Isn't this already a feature? I sure see a preference for that: "Use external editor by default (for experts only, needs special settings on your computer)"

Go to [[Special:Preferences]], click the Editing tab and check "Use external editor by default".
