Description Lior Gradstein 2009-04-21 12:55:48 UTC
Using Mediawiki REL1_14 and SMW 1.4.2 (tried also SMW SVN revision 49695, latest as of today), If I make a #ask request, like this:

(email is an 'email' property has type::email)

The email column will NOT RENDER, so I will get exactly on my screen: [anemail@foo.com anemail@foo.com]
instead of a linked string.

Also, in the property page, the list of elements is also wrong as it displays the emails as a link to a page (http://mymediawiki/anemail@foo.com).

It was working correctly with SMW 1.4.1

This problem is due to a change in the internal DB format, and could be fixed by refreshing the DB contents (using the button in Special:SMWAdmin). However, I have now extended SMW in SVN so that this problem is fixed on the fly without doing this upgrade. If you are not running on SVN, you can separately download the file http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/trunk/extensions/SemanticMediaWiki/includes/SMW_DV_URI.php and copy it into your installation.
