I think it might be useful that we can use URLs like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia:Press_releases/Wikimedia_announces_Yahoo_support I found this URL here: http://jeays.net/wikipedia/announcements-rss-2.0.xml
I don't understand what's being suggested or why.
I meant that a URL with an interwiki title (from en.wikipedia.org to wikimediafoundation.org) seem not to work. [[Wikimedia:Developer]] ---> http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Developer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia:Developer -X-> http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Developer (Error) [[Meta:Developer]] ---> http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Developer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta:Developer ---> http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Developer Sorry for bad English...
Brion: He wants "Wikimedia" to be added to the list of allowed forwarding prefixes, just as http://*.wikiwhatever.org/wiki/meta:$1 is forwarded to http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/$1 he wants http://*.wikiwhatever.org/wiki/wikimedia:$1 to be forwarded to http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/$1 I've changed the summary to reflect this.
Appears to have been done some time ago.
