Making the data in [[Special:AbuseLog]] available through the API would be useful.

There's an 'abusefilter' letype already, but it doesn't seem to return anything: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=logevents&letype=abusefilter

That's because it returns the same as [[Special:Log/abusefilter]], which also returns nothing. I guess AbuseFilter shouldn't be creating its own log type because it has its own custom log special page; reopening and renaming bug for this issue.

No, we'll start using this log type once the character limit for log types expands. This log is intended to log filter changes.
