Description Happy-melon 2009-04-05 18:10:03 UTC
On the deletion confirmation dialogue, the {{PROTECTIONLEVEL:...}} magic word is not defined.
Comment 1 Quim Gil 2013-04-19 14:09:23 UTC
Sorry, can you explain the problem?

From https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Magic_words
{{PROTECTIONLEVEL:action}}
Outputs the protection level (e.g. "autoconfirmed", "sysop") for a given action (e.g. "edit", "move") on the current page or an empty string if not protected.

How is this relevant in a dialog wen you are deleting a page?
Comment 2 Happy-melon 2013-04-19 14:20:30 UTC
I believe the premise is that calling {{PROTECTIONLEVEL}} in [[MediaWiki:Confirmdeletetext]] should give the status of the page in question (which is perfectly reasonable, enwiki uses that to pop up an alert "the page you're about to delete is protected; are you sure you're not doing something stupid?!"). In which case this is actually WORKSFORME as that usecase works fine.
