Description Dan Barrett 2009-03-03 17:45:44 UTC
Beginning in 1.14.0, Special:MovePage no longer displays the checkbox, "Update any redirects that point to the original title", even when the page has redirects.

Because the system message "fix-double-redirects" still appears in the source code of includes/specials/SpecialMovepage.php, I assume this is a bug.

You need to set $wgFixDoubleRedirects = true; in LocalSettings.php to have this feature activated since 1.14.0.

Thanks.

This breaking change is not documented in the 1.14.0 release notes. It should be listed under "Configuration changes in 1.14".

Reopening the bug so the documentation can be fixed (say, in the next 1.14 patch).
