I think it'd be a great thing if Wikipedia could use the powerful and versatile
SWF format.
Perhaps using it like an [[Image:image.jpg]] would be the way to do it, because
then you could easily show a thumbnail and than move to a larger version
(infinetly larger if drawings are done as vectors).

Anyway, hope to see this feature replace animated gifs (much inferior)

I have created a flash extension. It is still in development but it looks pretty
good. Not ready for implementation yet though.
