Description Mihael Simonič 2009-02-23 21:13:41 UTC
Hi!

It's me, again.

There are many untitled works. I understand you can not upload anything on Wikisource (or other mediawiki site). So I give such a pages descriptional titles (like "Work no. 1 by Author") or just copy first line of poem as a title.

The problem is following. Generally it is not wanted for changing any bit of artist's (poet's/writer's) work (and adding kind-a-title is a BIG/MAJOR change), in some countries this is also forbidden, but in USA (where servers are) I believe it isn't. If i cant't upload texts without a title can I hide it, just like on Main page this is done (URL stay unchanged, but <h1 with id firstHeading> element is hidden)? I know there is javascript behind, but I relay don't want to add functions for many pages without title.

Is there any extension that solves this problem is there other way to do this?

Greetings, Miha

Marking this INVALID. Can be done with CSS/JS tweaks easily. No need for an extension or core feature to do this.
