Description Wutsje 2009-02-22 19:59:52 UTC
Hi.

For some reason it seems impossible for me to login to http://pap.wikipedia.org using my SUL-account, which is no problem at all on any other wiki. I keep getting the message that my password is wrong, but I am very very sure that I never changed it.

The account was generated automatically on February 20, 2009 (see http://pap.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3AListUsers&username=Wut&group=&limit=50 ).

I would highly appreciate it if you were to find some time to look into this. Thanks in advance.

Regards, Wutsje

I might add that my account on pap:wiki does not show up in the list I get when I click on ''Manage your global account'' on my wiki preference page(s), so obviously something has gone wrong there. (Feb 24, 2009, 23:22 (UTC))

Has it been resolved? I see edits from your account in 2010.

Hi,

I think that my account suffers of the same bug as the one of Wutsje.

Yesterday: 5 March, I tried to merge my french account into a sul unified one. Everything looks to be ok, and there was no problem login to dewiki or wikimedia commons for example.

But when I tried to login to enwiki, first everything looked to be fine but then, when I tried editing an article, I think that I suffered of the following bug:
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23295

Then, it was impossible for me to login on enwiki. It say that my password is false. We tried with a steward to unmerge and remerge my account but that didn't worked.

Strange thing is that the enwiki account doesn't appear here:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/fviard

But is referenced here:
http://toolserver.org/~quentinv57/tools/sulinfo.php?username=fviard&showinactivity=1&showblocks=1&showlocked=1

So I think that something bad happened during the first authentication on enwiki with the global account, and so that my account on it is only half setup or something like that.

Is it possible for you to have a look fast for me to be able to use my account on enwiki?

Thank you

What's interesting, is that the account was created by SUL:

Can we check if this is some CentralAuth 1.19 regression?

If the issue existed before, how is this a 1.19 regression?

https://pap.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ACentralAuth&target=Wutsje

It's listed there, and also shows on other wikis

^ Is this correct? It's been 9 months since and you've not replied, which probably means you're not watching this bug.

If it's still an issue, please re-open the bug, it might just need a few things poking and bringing into line

Is this a duplicate of bug 29234?
