At several wikipedia's Shareduploadduplicate is in use to easily spot duplicate files. See for example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Shareduploadduplicate & http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Shareduploadduplicate. This options was removed in r1=47310&r2=47381&sortby=file">http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/phase3/includes/ImagePage.php?r1=47310&r2=47381&sortby=file

Please restore. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Images_with_the_same_name_on_Wikimedia_Commons or http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categorie:Wikipedia:NuCommons_zelfde_naam for files which should include this message.

No reason to bring this message back. The dupe information is already listed on the page, it was being displayed twice (which is redundant). It makes more sense to consolidate all of this link information into one section rather than at the top /and/ bottom.

As such, the message was phased out as it's no longer being used.
