Description Joel Natividad 2009-02-15 19:29:04 UTC
The current hash names are inordinately long and are not user-friendly.
Comment 1 Joel Natividad 2009-02-19 22:11:55 UTC
Fraid there are no two ways about it. The only reason stock CSV result printer can manage this (name file - result.csv) is coz it creates file in mem while we create our CSV files in the Ploticus cache in a sharded dir structure.

One though was to create a softlink that is human-readable to the hash filename, but this will have to wait until a future release.

[Removing RESOLVED LATER as discussed in http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2012-November/064240.html and announced in https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=CALFVSbXkiffYy6HkhEWE0RtRrJ%2B2ebPz3g00gsr%2Bdz%2B1nZWsDA%40mail.gmail.com&forum_name=semediawiki-devel . Reopening and setting priority to "Lowest". For future reference, please use either RESOLVED WONTFIX (for issues that will not be fixed), or simply set lowest priority. Thanks a lot!]
