Description Chad H. 2009-02-15 17:16:31 UTC
When attempting to sign up for an account on usability.wikimedia.org, the site complains about not being able to send e-mail. Told me to check my e-mail address to make sure it was well-formed (which it was).

Figured something's not setup right on the server this is on.

"Error sending mail: mailer error" is the exact error
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2009-02-17 06:59:15 UTC
Might need to make sure there's an MTA set up to forward via our mail server or other appropriate config.
Comment 3 Chad H. 2009-02-17 19:18:49 UTC
Cf bug 6941: Apparently the same error happens when we lack a timezone.
Comment 4 Trevor Parscal 2009-02-17 21:30:25 UTC
Mark installed a simple mail setup on the server, and it seems to be working well now. Thanks!
