Description Dan Jacobson 2009-02-10 01:30:42 UTC
The file clearly contains 2008:10:27 16:48:22.
Why do we see
"Date and time of data generation 08:04, 19 September 2008" etc. ?
Comment 1 Tim Starling 2009-02-10 01:41:38 UTC
$ identify -verbose China_Shanxi_traffic_police.jpg

  Exif:DateTime: 2008:09:19 08:04:53
  Exif:DateTimeDigitized: 2008:09:19 08:04:53
  Exif:DateTimeOriginal: 2008:09:19 08:04:53

The file upload comment contains "2008.10.27", but the EXIF metadata is what is displayed in the "file metadata" table, and that clearly shows 19 September.

How stupid I was.
I confused it with

Tim, is there anyway to like totally remove this bug from bugzilla?
How embarrassing.
There must be a way.
Let's say somebody posts a state secret here, or ascii art pornography.
There must be a way. Thanks.
