Description NonvocalScream 2009-02-08 18:42:44 UTC
It seems that all the wiki's are slow today, 3-8 secs to respond to requests. I was able to have others reproduce.
Comment 1 NonvocalScream 2009-02-08 19:46:06 UTC
Reopened since problem is not resolved.
Comment 2 Casey Brown 2009-02-08 19:47:58 UTC
Bugs like these are not helpful, try [[w:mail:wikitech-l|wikitech-l]] or #wikimedia-tech on IRC.
Comment 3 NonvocalScream 2009-02-08 19:49:44 UTC
If you don't explain why "INVALID" or "UNHELPFUL" then reporters like me won't learn. There will be more bug reports that are unhelpful because you fail to explain why.

Server issues are dealt with in realtime, or as close to it as is possible. This bug has no information, so it is not helpful. What *is* helpful is letting sysadmins know when there are errors in #wikimedia-tech and letting them work: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.technical/31510
