Transcluded pages indirectly affected by the "cascading protection" option are still rendered with "edit this page", "move", "[edit]" link for each section, etc. even if the user hasn't enough privileges to do this.

Morever the wgRestrictionEdit and wgRestrictionMove variables do not reflect cascade-protection either, so the client cannot compare them against wgUserGroups to conclude that it need not try to edit/move the page.
