After r46840 the installer no longer shows the DB options for the default selected DB on page load.

AFAIK, it's from line 1547, in which Xml::encodeJsVar slaps " around the value which htmlspecialchars then changes into " so when the page loads that line echoes:

window.onload = toggleDBarea('"mysql"',
1);

which doesn't match any of the DB names generated above on 199/200.
