Virus emails with *.exe, *.pif and *.scr extensions are making it through to the queues, presumably as a result of the loss of spam filters in the upgrade. Emails with such attachments should be sent to junk automatically, or have the attachments stripped (or both).
Virus/malware checking is different from spam checking. Spam filters / SpamAssassin is set up like before the upgrade, however I'm not aware of any additional malware filtering in place. Jens - do you know more about this perhaps?
Mailman can be configured to dump these filetypes, but it is up to the list owners to do so.
