Description Mike.lifeguard 2009-01-23 18:04:15 UTC
Wikibooks in particular (and I'm sure other wikis as well) is in need of better support for chemistry markup.

mhchem seems to provide the sort of stuff we want (though perhaps the developers or sysadmins are aware of other packages which can be better supported or provide better functionality). Please add support for mhchem in our <math> markup so we can use this standard markup to enter chemical formulas etc instead of constantly uploading PNGs which are less editable than in-wiki markup.

I imagine there would be work to do before enabling this, so it's not filed as a shell request - fix as need be.
