With bug 15498/r45362 the timestamp at special:contributions get links to the revision.

Please do the same for special:newpages to link to the first revision of a new page. consistency to history and contributes, who used this format; must not used the history to have a look at the first revision

Umherirrender, thank you for the enhancement request and the patch!  I'm sorry it took so long for us to get back to you.  In that time, SpecialNewpages.php has changed, so your patch no longer cleanly applies; could you take a look at it as it is now, and revise your patch?  Thanks.

I have a new patch attached, which did the same than the old patch, but against the current trunk

Umherirrender, thanks for the new patch.  I've changed the "reviewed" keyword to "need-review" to indicate that the new patch needs review.
