Description Habatchii 2009-01-16 03:22:00 UTC
Our site (wiki) has had numerous problems with using extensions. This includes all types of extensions (system, skins, third party, etc) of which came from the MediaWiki site. The MySQL server functions well, yet again the extensions do not. Please make a suggestion on updating or upgrading the MediaWiki software that the problem(s) may be resolved.

Without additional information, we can't really help much. It could be a core problem with the hooks, or it might be an issue with individual extensions.

Which extensions?
What errors do you get?
What errors for which extensions?
Is it when you try to install the extensions, or is it when you try to use them?

As a general fyi: extensions are varied in many many ways. Most use hooks, some tap into configuration variables, etc. About the only thing that all extensions have in common is using $wgExtensionCredits :) I did check out your site, and you seem to be running 1.13.2--the latest in the 1.13.x branch is 1.13.3, but that's a minor issue compared to what you're describing.

The extensions aren't installed according to Special:Version, so verify that you put the require_once("something"); line belonging to the extension in LocalSettings.php, and that you put it near the bottom (yes, that's important).

Resolving as WORKSFORME; Bugzilla is not a support forum.
