I think it would be great if Configure could somehow support meta extensions. With meta extensions multiple extensions could be activated and configured with one button click. This way it would become very easy to enable "Wikipedia extensions" or "Uniwiki extensions". This may also lead to users submitting a configuration for their 'ultimate MediaWiki extension package', which in turn would make the MediaWiki experience a whole lot easier for new administrators.
