Description Mike.lifeguard 2008-12-12 16:05:47 UTC
For example, http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?client=Firefox&hl=en-US&site=http://www.freewebtown.com/tydusarandor/images/fwt-2.jpg is not a link to freewebtown.com, yet this link is blocked from addition because \bfreewebtown\.com\b is blacklisted. This would presumably affect http://google.com/translate?u=http://www.somethingelseblacklisted.com and other similarly-constructed URLs too.
Comment 1 Dirk Beetstra 2008-12-12 16:09:38 UTC
True, but if we would allow this, then one could add translations of blacklisted documents anyway. I would suggest to leave this to whitelisting requests.
Comment 2 Mike.lifeguard 2008-12-12 16:13:24 UTC
Indeed - that would present an unacceptable exploit. Upon consideration, this is *not* something we want fixed, thus closed as WONTFIX.
