Description Shushruth 2008-11-28 16:54:25 UTC
In the Kannada (KN) version of the mediawiki, the automatic numbering system (i.e. serially entering #) renders the numbers in Arabic numerals instead of in Kannada numerals.
Comment 1 Siebrand Mazeland 2008-12-04 10:59:21 UTC
I am using a Dutch (nl) UI viewing http://kn.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B2%B8%E0%B2%A6%E0%B2%B8%E0%B3%8D%E0%B2%AF:Siebrand/test and I see the TOC as I would expect in the numerals a defined in MessagesKn.php. The <li> tags that "#" renders to, is processed by your browser. If that does not have support for 'kn' lists, or you do not have 'kn' settings in your browser, this is expected behaviour.

Closing as WORKSFORME.
